ATTORNEY PROFILE
Allen E. Hirschmann
Virginia and Washington DC Business Lawyer, Trial Lawyer, and
Arbitrator
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Lehigh
University, and received my Juris Doctorate (JD) from the
Washington College of Law of American University in Washington,
D.C. I have been in private practice for over 40 years,
representing individuals and business clients in various
commercial, business, real estate, and litigation matters in both
state and federal court in Virginia and Washington, DC.
In addition, for more than twenty (20) years, I have been an
Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, as well as
lead counsel and advocate representing my clients in arbitration
proceedings. As an Arbitrator, I act as a judge, and issue an
Award setting forth which party has prevailed. My experience as an
Arbitrator has proven invaluable to my clients since it continues
to enhance my experience by resolving matters involving many
different aspects of the law.
I have many years of service volunteering as a conciliator for
the
Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia. As a conciliator, I
am requested by the judges to mediate preliminary pretrial matters
disputed by the attorneys representing the parties in each case.
In my Long Branch neighborhood in Annandale,
Virginia, I formed the civic association (of which I am currently
a member), and helped build the community pool and tennis club,
which serve several hundred families. As the father of three
children, and an avid baseball fan, I formed the Northern Virginia
Fall Baseball League for youth ages nine (9) through eighteen
(18). I have coached my two sons in Little League baseball, and,
over the years, sponsored several Little League teams.
Additionally, I supported my daughter when she played soccer,
lacrosse, and field hockey as a student at Woodson High School in
Fairfax, VA.
